Background

Bryce is a writer and narrative strategist who explores the connection between storytelling, technology, and how humans create meaning. On her Substack, Paper Signal, she discusses narrative design, internet culture, and how stories structure reality. This platform also serves as a workshop for her future books, featuring short fiction and analysis of modern "narrative infrastructure." Drawing on literature and modern media, Bryce examines how digital algorithms and cultural changes affect traditional storytelling.

Bryce maintains a presence on YouTube (and Twitch) under the handle danabryce, where she has accumulated 10k subscribers on both platforms. Her previous content consisted of reactions to Gordon Ramsay shows, such as Kitchen Nightmares and Hotel Hell, with the occasional True Crime videos. In late 2025, There was a shift in her content, moving away from reactions and more towards commentary and movie discussions, similar in style to other storytelling commentary channels.
